Zine/monster art book.

For RPGs: system agnostic monster ideas to use with any game.

Drawings from my sketchbook, lovingly twined with tawdry text to tickle your twisted thoughts and terrify your timid players as they tiptoe through treacherous terrain.

Inspired by ttrpgs such as Cairn and Electric Bastionland.

Also inspired by  many, many amazing artists, but especially all those 'monster art books' I had as a kid, like ones by Wayne Douglas Barlowe and Brian Froud. Or the huge Hieronymous Bosch tome we borrowed from the library.

Printing/Viewing Instructions:
- To print as a booklet, select 'Double Sided: On (Short Edge)'
- To display the digital .pdf version properly, select 'View/Two Pages'

Please download and enjoy for free! If you'd like to donate a few bucks,  somewhere between $2 to $10 is my suggestion. I expended considerable time and skill seeking out and rendering these horrible beasts, not to mention surviving to make the photocopies.--the art is actually priceless, but I want to share it with all.

Physical copies of Vol. #1 will be available for pruchase at NOICE (Norfolk Indie Comic Expo in Virginia, February 4th 2023), and then we'll see. Thanks friends!

this was sweet! I specially liked their names, but the whole thing made me smile and gave me a nostalgic feel, I can totally see the influences you mentioned in the designs. Thanks for making and sharing!
